Happy Birthday to our Sales Floor Manager, Ashley! 🎂

Ashley has been part of the Forsythe family for years, and her genuine care for every customer who walks through our door and every piece that walks out of it is unmatched. There is no one quite like her, and we would not be the same without her.

Wishing you the most wonderful birthday, Ashley. We love you endlessly! 🤍

Who said every day can't give Old Hollywood glam? 🎬

This Friday, Amanda is taking us back to the 1950s with one of her favorite finds from our estate case: a bracelet that is, quite simply, a time capsule.

It features perfectly intact enamel, pearls in beautiful condition, an intricate woven pattern, and an adjustable clasp that makes it wearable for just about any wrist size.

Stop in and ask to try it on. It was made to be noticed.

Finding the perfect ring is one thing. Finding a jeweler who feels like family is something else entirely.

Eleven years after Bucky opened the doors at the Powers Building, Forsythe outgrew the space.

In 1938, Bucky moved the shop into the Lincoln Alliance Bank Building at 943. Forsythe stayed there for nearly a quarter century, and the work that started as watch repair quietly became something more: diamonds, precious gems, fine gold and platinum.

While Bucky worked the bench, Helen kept the books, took shorthand while watches were being repaired, cleaned the cases, ran errands, wrapped registered packages, and built up the inventory.

Since day one, Forsythe has always been a family business.

Something bloomed at the Rochester Lilac Festival this year, and it wasn't just the flowers…

G proposed to H in Highland Park, surrounded by close friends, with the prettiest backdrop, and we couldn't be happier for them.

May your love continue to blossom for years to come. đź’ś

May isn't over, so we thought some more emeralds couldn't hurt.

Our client came in with a collection of inherited pieces she'd stopped wearing, unsure of what to do with them.

Some found a second life in our estate collection, but one piece stood out immediately: a large, asscher-cut emerald that had belonged to her mother.

Matt saw exactly what it could become. He designed a sterling silver bezel setting flanked by four bezel-set diamonds, tapering down to a textured wheat chain. Rhodium-plated and adjustable from 18 to 21 inches.
Her mother's emerald. Her new forever piece.

If you have jewelry sitting in a drawer, it has a next chapter too. We'd love to help you write it.

This week, we’re celebrating someone you may not see often, but who keeps everything at Forsythe running smoothly behind the scenes.

Loraine is the steady hand that keeps us organized, supported, and moving forward. What began as a part-time bookkeeping role has grown into her position as our full-time Accounting + Operations Coordinator, and we truly couldn’t do it without her. That alone is worth celebrating, but this week we get to celebrate her birthday too.

Happy Birthday, Loraine!

With her heart of gold, sneaky sense of humor, and ability to keep us all in line, we’re incredibly lucky to have her on our team.

From all of us at Forsythe, thank you for everything. We hope you have an amazing day, Loraine!

Her heart was set on a green sapphire, a vivid, non-traditional center gem full of personality and depth.

And then, just when we thought the design was complete, she found her dream wedding band jacket waiting in our estate case.

We think it shows some things are simply meant to be.
