We've officially been open for 9 years! Can you believe it??

Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who has supported us, patronized our business, recommended us, and continues to trust us with your jewelry needs.

We know that for many jewelry is so much more than a bauble. Your jewelry speaks to who you are, your family history, your values, and what and who matters most to you. We take very seriously our responsibility for not only creating but caring for such treasures.

We love our little home on Penfield Road and the community we've been able to build here. Your stories touch our hearts daily, and we love that we can make this small corner of the world a bit brighter.

We stand with all businesses and people who choose to recognize today in whatever way they can— closing, offering free classes, donating, not working, not shopping, etc.

We recognize the drawbacks of all these methods while also feeling the weight and importance of taking a stand and making it known.

Because the world does not bend toward justice without good people forcing it to bend, and every small thing we do matters.

We will be open today and will donate the amount spent on wages to in support of immigrants in our community.

Eight years ago, Mark and I had our grand opening of Nulton Jewelers here on Penfield Road. I remember at the time being pretty nervous; I had grown up in a family that always worked for other people and big companies. The thought of having your own business seemed absurd to me. But Mark is from a family of family-owned businesses, so this- to him- only made sense.

Knowing very little about jewelry repair and design myself, I trusted that with my retail background and Mark's expertise, we could do this. I've always trusted Mark's positive outlook over my own rational, cautious perspective.

Over the years we've grown slowly by word of mouth. Your recommendations to friends and family have made this possible for us.

We were able to hire two amazing people- Emmett and Izzy- to work with us, and they've only made things better. We're so lucky.

Jewelry can just be pretty and sparkly, but very often it is deeply personal and full of sentiment. Thank you all so much for supporting us, talking us up, and trusting us with such important work.

A recent custom ring. Our customer wanted to use her marquise diamonds from an existing ring and add deep green emeralds to create a floral-inspired, airy band. We went back and forth on design and layout of stones until we found the exact right ring for her. We love the result!
