Finished ring: Franny wrote to me right after receiving it — “The ring is gorgeous, thank you so so much.” I can’t wait to see both rings on her hand together. 💕

Finished ring: The finished band came out exactly as we’d hoped — delicate, detailed, and built to fit her engagement ring perfectly.

Casting: The casting came back in 14k yellow gold with the vine and leaf engraving crisp and clean, and the curve holding its shape beautifully.

Rhino: Getting the curve exactly right in Rhino CAD was everything here — even a small miscalculation would mean the two rings wouldn’t sit flush. I modeled renderings of both rings nested together before finalizing anything.

Sketch: Franny wanted vine and leaf engraving on her band. I suggested curving the shape itself so it would nest naturally against her engagement ring instead of sitting flat beside it. She fell in love with one option right away.

Before: Last year, we redesigned Franny’s engagement ring, turning her grandmother’s diamond into a delicate ring with a twisted rope shank. This year, she came back for the next chapter — a wedding band made to nest perfectly alongside it.

Finished ring on her hand: Ryan’s reaction said it all — “It looks amazing! Great work!” A ring redesigned not to mark something that already happened, but to celebrate a milestone still being lived. 💕

Finished ring: Watching my master jeweler hand-set this piece was incredible to witness — his artistry always amazes me. The new sapphire complements her cushion diamond beautifully.

Process: Seeing his process shots before the final polish is always a reminder of the sheer artistry in his hands — every piece he touches becomes something one-of-a-kind.

Casting: The casting came back in 14k yellow gold, ready for the diamond and sapphire. From here, it went to my master jeweler with detailed setting instructions.
