Do you enjoy creating graphics, playing in Canva, or finding fun and engaging images for social media? We’re looking for a creative volunteer to help support the Greater Kansas City Chi Omega Alumnae Association!

You don’t need to be a professional graphic designer—just someone who has an eye for design, enjoys creating visuals, and is comfortable using tools like Canva. This volunteer role would help create graphics and find images for our social media, newsletters, and other communications.

Since 1992, the June Barber Memorial Scholarship has helped make a difference in the lives of Chi Omega sisters.

And this year, you have taken that legacy to a whole new level.

✨ $45,000 donated from 1992–2025
✨ $23,000 raised since April
✨ $39,000 awarded to 36 sisters over the years
✨ And now, just $20,000 more to reach our December goal

That means we have raised more than half as much in just a few months as was raised over the previous 33 years. That’s what happens when sisters come together for a cause that matters.

Our goal isn’t simply to grow a fund. It’s to make sure future Chi Omega sisters have the opportunity to receive the same kind of support that Kristen and Catherine—and 34 other sisters—have experienced.

Let’s finish 2026 strong. Help us raise the next $20,000 and keep June Barber’s legacy growing for generations to come.

When Catherine received the June Barber Memorial Scholarship as a Chi Omega undergraduate, she was working hard to make both her education and her Chi Omega experience possible.

Today, she has earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and is officially a veterinarian! 🐾❤️💛

The June Barber Scholarship helped Catherine pay for tuition and a portion of her Chi Omega dues at a time when she was financially independent. It made a meaningful difference—and helped keep her connected to the sisterhood she loved.

Her story is exactly why we’re working to grow the June Barber Memorial Scholarship Fund. Every gift helps make a difference in the life of another sister and helps carry June Barber’s legacy forward.
