I saw a post that said, “The heart that men ruin is always mended by a better man.”

No.

Why are we teaching women that they need another man to fix what a man broke?

The truth is, healing doesn’t come from someone else. It comes from you.

A relationship can break your heart, but another relationship isn’t responsible for putting the pieces back together. That’s your job. It’s in the late nights when you choose yourself. It’s in the therapy, the tears, the boundaries, the self-reflection, and the decision to love yourself again after someone made you question your worth.

A healthy partner can support your healing, but they should never be responsible for it.

Ladies, stop waiting for someone to save you. Save yourself.

Learn who you are outside of a relationship. Rebuild your confidence. Rediscover your happiness. Fall in love with your own company. Heal the wounds. Break the cycles.

Because the strongest comeback isn’t finding a better man.

It’s becoming a stronger woman.

The woman who healed herself is the woman no one can break twice.

One thing I’ve learned on this journey is that your biggest supporters will often be complete strangers.

The people who share your posts, buy your products, leave encouraging comments, and genuinely want to see you win may be people you’ve never met a day in your life.

Meanwhile, some of the people you know personally may never support your business, like your posts, or even acknowledge what you’re building.

And that’s okay.

Don’t let the lack of support from friends, family, or people you know discourage you. Keep showing up. Keep posting. Keep creating. Keep believing in yourself.

Sometimes God will send strangers to support the vision He gave you because they’re able to see the value in what you’re building without preconceived opinions or expectations.

To every stranger who has supported my journey, purchased a bracelet, shared a post, left a kind comment, or cheered me on from afar, thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know.

Never stop because the people closest to you aren’t clapping. The right people are watching, and they will find you.

Keep going. 🤍

Eight years ago today, my life changed forever.

I remember being in a hospital bed surrounded by monitors, wires, and machines after being diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure. My cardiologist told me my heart was functioning at only 10%. Hearing those words was terrifying. The future suddenly felt uncertain.

I did everything the doctors and specialists asked of me. I took the medications, followed the treatment plan, and wore that incredibly annoying LifeVest every single day. There were moments of fear, frustration, and doubt, but I kept fighting.

The truth is, there were people who didn’t think I would make it. There were moments when the odds were stacked against me. But God had a different plan for my life.

Today marks 8 years since that diagnosis, and I am still here. Still standing. Still fighting. Still grateful.

Every day is a gift that I refuse to take for granted. My journey has taught me that strength is found in the moments when you have no choice but to keep going, and faith can carry you through the darkest seasons of your life.

To anyone facing a health battle right now: don’t give up. Your story isn’t over yet.

Eight years later, I am living proof that miracles still happen.

The Most Expensive Thing I’ve Ever Lost Wasn’t Money… It Was Time.

People always talk about the money they’ve lost, but the most expensive thing I’ve ever lost wasn’t a dollar amount, it was time.

Time spent in relationships that were never meant to last.
Time spent trying to prove my worth to people who had already decided not to see it.
Time spent holding on to toxic friendships because of history.
Time spent hoping certain family members would become the people I needed them to be.
Time spent doubting myself, shrinking myself, and questioning whether I was good enough.
Time spent letting fear convince me not to take chances, not to speak up, and not to chase my dreams.

The hard truth is that money can be earned back. Possessions can be replaced. But time? Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

I’ve learned that protecting your peace isn’t selfish.
Walking away isn’t weakness.
Choosing yourself isn’t wrong.

Every lesson came with a cost, but those lessons taught me to stop wasting my life on people, situations, and fears that don’t deserve my energy.

If you’re holding on to something that’s draining you, ask yourself: How much more of your time are you willing to pay?

Because time is the one thing you’ll never get a refund for.

💯❤️

Life will humble you real quick.

The older I get, the more I realize that judging people is easy when you’ve never walked in their shoes. We all have things we swore we’d never do, situations we thought we’d never face, and battles we never imagined we’d fight.

Life has a way of changing your perspective.

The person you’re judging may be fighting a battle you know nothing about. They may be carrying grief, illness, trauma, financial struggles, or burdens they never asked for.

That’s why I believe in giving people grace.

Because until you’ve lived their story, you don’t know what you would do. You don’t know what they’ve survived to make it through another day.

Life can humble any of us in an instant.

Be kind. Be understanding. Give grace freely.

You never know what battle someone is fighting behind a smile. ❤️

June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

To every man silently carrying the weight of the world, this is your reminder: You don’t have to do it alone.

Society tells men to “man up,” stay strong, and keep their feelings to themselves. But real strength isn’t suffering in silence. Real strength is speaking up, asking for help, and taking care of your mental health.

Depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and burnout don’t discriminate. They affect fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, friends, and coworkers every single day.

Check on the men in your life. Ask them how they’re REALLY doing. Listen without judgment. Sometimes a simple conversation can make a bigger difference than you realize.

To every man reading this: Your feelings are valid. Your struggles matter. Your life matters. 💚

As a small business owner, I always believe in being transparent about the journey.

We’re halfway through June, and Stoned by Ashli Mareè hasn’t had a single sale this year. Would I love to see more orders coming in? Absolutely. But am I going to let it discourage me? Not at all.

One thing I’ve learned since starting my business in 2021 is that every season is different. The first and second quarters can be slower for many small businesses, and that’s just part of the process. Success isn’t about giving up when things get quiet, it’s about continuing to show up, create, and believe in what you’re building.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to do.

I have so many new bracelet ideas, new accessories, and new creations that I’m excited to bring to life. The creativity hasn’t stopped, and neither have I.

To everyone who has ever purchased a bracelet, shared a post, liked a video, told a friend about my business, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, thank you. Your support means more than you’ll ever know. Every share, comment, and order has helped keep this dream alive.

The sales may be slow right now, but the vision is still strong. I’m going to keep creating, keep growing, and keep trusting the process.

Stoned by Ashli Mareè isn’t going anywhere. 🧡

Never say NEVER.

It’s easy to sit on the outside of a situation and say, “I would never do that.” But the truth is, you never truly know what you would do until life puts you in that exact position.

You don’t know how strong you’ll be until you’re forced to fight.
You don’t know what you’ll sacrifice until someone you love is on the line.
You don’t know what choices you’ll make when your back is against the wall.

Life has a way of humbling us. The things we once judged, questioned, or couldn’t understand suddenly make sense when we walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.

So before you say “I would never,” remember that circumstances change, people grow, and survival can look different than you imagined.

Lead with grace. Lead with understanding. And remember: we’re all one unexpected moment away from a reality we never saw coming.
