~ Fronds of Seaweed Earrings 🌊~

It was one of those days. Left for the studio in the morning, arrived in the evening. A fun, experimental project replaced the projects that I “should” have been doing, freeing up my creative energy, and challenging my engineering mind in the best of ways✨

These earrings took a while to figure out, but the results are kinetic and lightweight, and dance around like seaweed. No solder (aside from the ear wire), just forged fabrication. Handcrafted in sterling silver, and looking for a sea-lover to adorn🌊

Ooo la la! I found this gorgeous pair of hand carved moss aquamarine when I was in Tucson this past February, and I immediately knew what I would do with them. I’m fortunate to have an antique leaf stamp in my tool collection (dating back to the early 1800’s!), that I knew would work beautifully in this design. These are handcrafted in 22k and 18k gold, with fine silver back plates, and finished with four bright, petite diamonds. Spring is blossoming into summer, and the landscape is bursting with vibrancy. These gold-tipped silver samara earrings, with glowing green slices of tourmaline, embody this feeling of early summer for me. Handcrafted in sterling silver with 24k and 22k gold, and finished with petite slices of tourmaline, set over 24k gold. Light weight, with playful movement.

Oh yes! These beauties came out better than I’d hoped, so I’m excited to share them now. They are handcrafted in fine and sterling silver, with 24k and 22k gold accents, and showcase an organically matched pair of rosecut citrines. These are about 1.75” in length, and are very lightweight. Best of all? There is a lot of light play going on with these, between the rich, honey-like citrines and the pure gold cells, so they’re very eye-catchy✨

Moss Aquamarine, how I love you so🥰

I’ve been working with this watery gemstone for years now, and as it tends to go with organic materials, the source is not infinite. These days, the moss aquamarine that is available has more of a blueish tone, with less green and gold hues in it. For this reason, I am now a hoarder of “old stock” moss aquamarine. When I was in Tucson this past Feb, I was delighted to find a small tray of old stock, and impulsively bought it all up before I could second guess myself. Now? Zero regrets 🙌🏻🌟

This charming pair of earrings showcases some of that moss aquamarine, served up in faceted, plump drops. These are set into tiny temples, handcrafted in sterling silver and 22k gold, with diamond accented 18k gold ear wires. They feel lovely on, as they are incredible light weight, and between the glowing aquas and the bright diamonds, they interact beautifully with the light✨
