Dear customers,
I’m thrilled to share some wonderful news — Szilvia’s Little Kitchen is returning to the markets soon! It’s been quite a year without markets, and my business has changed in some exciting new ways.
Here’s what’s new:
-Naturally smoked, award-winning cheeses are again available continuously, though in a smaller selection. Your favourites — Edam, Cheddar, Feta, Brie, Blue Vein, Cream Cheese, and Dairy-Free Cheddar — will still be on offer.
- Hungarian charcuterie will be available only while stocks last. Quantities are very limited, but there will be fantastic deals you won’t want to miss! Once this stock is gone, I won’t be making any more sausages or salami, white and black pudding, BBQ sausages, pancettas — so don’t wait too long to stock up.
- European-style sweets are coming soon to the markets! You can taste the crispy cheese rolls, walnuts filled zserbo, fluffy fruit cake, etc. These unique treats, crafted with traditional Hungarian flavours and a touch of home, will be something special for New Zealand.
- Your favourite imported Hungarian condiments and sauces remain continuously available on the website and at larger markets.
And stay tuned — in the first half of 2026, I’ll be launching something truly FANTASTIC and new!
Markets:
To kick off 2026, I’ll be attending my first market of the year: The St Heliers Art and Craft Market on Monday, 26 January, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Please note: the sweets won’t be available at this event, but you’ll find great deals on charcuterie, a full selection of smoked cheeses, and plenty of original Hungarian condiments and sauces to enjoy.
I’m so excited to reconnect with you all, share my favourite flavours, and return to the vibrant market community.

The website remains open for smoked cheese orders and — while they last — charcuterie with huge deals.
Pick up will be available in Pakuranga Heights or via post.
In Auckland, for orders over $45 order, the courier is at my cost.
Sweets and cakes can be ordered via the website with a few days’ notice.
Catering for up to 20 people is also available — check the menu online and get in touch for a personalised quote.
