This was a pretty special one to work on.

A beautiful yellow diamond, surrounded by white diamonds and set in 18k yellow gold. Definitely one of the more ambitious rings I’ve made, and a piece I really enjoyed working on ✨

But as much as I love seeing a finished ring on the bench, it’s even better seeing it where it belongs.

Merryn kindly sent over these lovely photos, and I couldn’t resist sharing them alongside my own.

Not your usual wedding band shape!

I made the engagement ring for this customer a while back, and they’ve since come back for a wedding band to fit around it.

Rather than having a gap between the two rings, the band is shaped to follow the contours of the engagement ring so they sit neatly together.

It’s a lovely way of making a wedding band that works with an existing ring, whether I’ve made the original or not ✨

I’ve been meaning to get these on Etsy for a while, and they’re finally there!

I’ve always loved working with sea glass, particularly when I get to play around with the different colours.

These little teardrop necklaces are each shaped by hand and set in either 9ct yellow gold or sterling silver, with a matching chain ✨

There’s a lovely selection of colours to choose from, but if you’re after something specific, just drop me a message. I’m always happy to see what I can do 💙

A bit of Newquay sunshine for this one ✨

Made for a friend in 18ct yellow gold, with a round diamond doing most of the talking.

The setting is deliberately kept simple and cut away underneath, exposing the stone right down to its point, letting you see much more of the diamond than you normally would.

Simple from a distance. Quite a different story when you look a little closer 👀

This one feels right for the weather in Newquay today 🌊

Inspired by Godrevy lighthouse, a decent swell and some fairly unsettled seas, all hand carved into platinum.

This one was commissioned as a wedding band and was a very good excuse to get a little carried away with the details.

Dare I say, Autumn has officially arrived in Cornwall 🍂

There’s a reason the most important detail on this ring is hidden…

I don’t get to make nearly enough jewellery for men, so I really enjoyed this one.

She chose a piece of sea glass I’d collected from around the Newquay beaches, which I set into platinum with a brushed finish. It’s a subtle piece, designed to be worn everyday, even by someone who works with their hands.

Hidden inside is a diamond from her Grandmother’s ring, who her partner had also been close to.

The hexagon sea glass was a challenge to shape, but the finished ring feels really balanced and elegant.

Bringing my customers ideas to life is what I love most, and seeing everything fall into place at the end never gets old.
Green sea glass at the centre, the texture of the sea glass is carefully preserved, finished with baguette emeralds and diamond accents.
