I take great pride in craftsmanship, and hope you will be truly pleased with your purchase. However, I cannot accept returns on bespoke or personalised orders, as all items are made to order, which makes them unique. Refunds or exchanges are only offered if I hav
e not supplied the item ordered, if the item was not made to the stated specifications or if the item is faulty in which case it will be repaired or replaced. Please note:
Every fingerprint is unique. The younger the child the less definition the fingerprint will have. Although ridges tend to develop around 6 months of age, all children are different and some will have detail in their fingertips from birth. If you can see detail in your child’s finger this will be captured by the process and transferred to the finished item. Even the impression of a child’s finger without much detail still makes an excellent keepsake. All charm sizes quoted are approximate. Delivery or Pick-up of Finished Jewellery:
Fingerprint jewellery items will be ready within 2-4 weeks. Use and care instructions:
The Customer acknowledges that due to the purity of fine silver, the finished jewellery is softer than Sterling Silver and therefore needs to be handled with special care. If worn every day the item may show signs of wear and tear and the detail may fade. This is more prevalent with charm bracelets and keyrings which are more prone to being knocked against hard surfaces. For ongoing care of your pure silver, please remove your jewellery before going swimming or using a sauna/jacuzzi. If your jewellery tarnishes, you can polish it with silver polish and a polishing cloth. Please take care not to use the cloth or any silver polishing liquids on any of the imprint details, i.e. the fingerprint. As with all jewellery, links and attachments such as jump rings and cufflink backing can be broken if not treated with care, or handled roughly. The jewellery I supply is only intended for adult wear, as items may represent a choking hazard for younger children. Any items purchased for children should be kept until they are old or responsible enough to wear them. Warranty:
All goods supplied by The Fire Shed are warranted free from defects in materials or workmanship for 6 months from the date of delivery. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. Payment:
Payment of the goods must be made when you place your order. We will not start making your jewellery until the payment has been received in full and cheques have been cleared. Privacy Policy
