Fifteen years after Legacy Machine N°1 opened an entirely new chapter for MB&F, the Machine that started the Legacy Machine story is back – evolved for today.

LM1 EVO preserves the unmistakable architecture of the 2011 original: two completely independent time displays, each showing its own hours and minutes, and the oversized 14mm flying balance wheel. But the new LM1 EVO has been re-engineered with a smaller 42mm case, a 60-hour power reserve, a redesigned inclined power-reserve display and the EVO features conceived for a more active life: 80 metres of water resistance, screw-down crowns and MB&F’s patented FlexRing shock absorber. And for the first time on an EVO model, the integrated rubber straps are interchangeable thanks to a quick-release system.

The regulating system has also evolved, with the flying balance now paired with a Straumann double hairspring and supported by a redesigned titanium bridge. The manually wound calibre, developed with Kari Voutilainen and Jean-François Mojon, comprises 338 components and 25 jewels. Its traditional hand-finishing includes gold chatons with polished countersinks, polished bevels with internal angles, Geneva waves and hand-made engravings – classical watchmaking codes that remain very much at the heart of the Legacy Machine concept.

Introducing Nostromo, an alien-like co-creation with our good Friends at Maison Alcée 👽

We’ve loved what Maison Alcée has been doing since the very beginning. Founded by Alcée and Benoît Montfort, their idea is as unusual as it is brilliant: instead of simply buying a beautiful mechanical clock, they give you everything you need to build it yourself. In fact, the MB&F M.A.D.Gallery was the very first boutique to believe in their project.

So for our MB&F M.A.D.Gallery ‘s 15th anniversary, it felt only natural to create something together. The result is Nostromo – a true co-creation between our two worlds, designed by MB&F Creative Designer Maximilian Maertens and crafted by Maison Alcée!

Inspired by Max’s love for H.R. Giger and the Alien universe, Nostromo is an alien-like mechanical clock composed of 222 components, which you assemble yourself in around 10 hours, even with no previous watchmaking experience.

Once brought to life, it displays hours, minutes and seconds, features an hour chime, offers a 14-day power reserve… and can even rotate on its three organic-looking legs.

Each Nostromo comes with all the necessary tools and a 250-page illustrated instruction book to guide you through the journey.

Everyone who takes part in the collective assembly will automatically be entered into a raffle at the end of the show, with one lucky participant taking the completed Nostromo home!

Opening our very first MB&F Lounge in New York 🇺🇸

Located on the fifth floor of the historic Fuller Building at 595 Madison Avenue, the Lounge isn’t a traditional boutique. It’s a place designed for collectors, enthusiasts and Friends to discover our creations in a relaxed, intimate setting surrounded by mechanical art.

Created together with our long-time partners Voltige Design & Architecture, the space brings together a welcoming living room, presentation areas, private meeting spaces and an atmosphere that feels unmistakably MB&F.

Introducing the LM101 EVO NYC 🇺🇸

Created to celebrate the opening of our new MB&F Lounge in New York, this limited edition of just 25 pieces is crafted in 18K rose gold, featuring a striking black sunray-brushed PVD dial plate.

Originally launched in 2014, the LM101 marked an important milestone for MB&F as the first calibre entirely developed by our in-house engineering team, with finishing specifications by our Friend Kari Voutilainen.

HM12 THE GUARDIAN

It all started with a simple question:

“Wouldn’t it be cool if a watch could be the head of a robot?”

Five years later, that idea became one of the most ambitious projects in MB&F history.

HM12 marks an important milestone for the brand: the first Horological Machine created entirely by “Max & Max” — Maximilian Büsser and Maximilian Maertens.

Its transformer-inspired face features jumping hours, trailing minutes, a flying tourbillon and a double-sided micro-rotor. A second crown activates a mechanical face shield that slides into place over the face, a playful feature requiring more than 200 components on its own.

Turn the watch over and a different personality emerges, revealing traditional hand-finishing and guillochage by Brodbeck Guillochage, the workshop of our Friend Kari Voutilainen.

But HM12 is only half the story.

If the watch is the head, it needed a body.

Meet The Guardian: a fully mechanical companion featuring articulated arms, a mechanical thermometer, a hidden loupe and a UV flashlight. Together, HM12 and The Guardian bring nearly 1,500 components to life.

Available in Blue, Green and Purple, each limited to just 12 pieces.

And perhaps the craziest part: these launch editions are also the final editions.
