Sooke Country Market is basically home to me and I’m very thrilled to be returning today!

Only been daydreaming about these fringe necklaces since the last time I made a few and they went FAST!!

Custom ring from the Eternal Seas Collection!

My customer found this stunning, perfectly tumbled jewelry grade piece of sea glass and reached out to see if I could make a ring for her with it, in the Eternal Seas style..

It’s freaking GORGEOUS, giving very “heart of the ocean” titanic vibes which isn’t really that surprising!!!

*SLIGHTLY EMBARRASSING*I went and saw titanic roughly 10 times while it was in theatre, took notes and taped movie ticket stubs to my journal…

The Eternal Seas Collection has always been Titanic inspired.. the secrets out lol!!!

Somewhere in everything I make, I tie in a little subtle piece of me whether it’s my favorite numbers, pop culture references or little characteristics and interests, it’s my way of connecting with what I create and making each piece with intention..

You just can’t AI that hahahaha

What is better than a chunky silver ring?

A chunky silver ring with a piece of rare cobalt blue sea glass!!!

This is actually the first style of jewelry I ever soldered, smithed…

I got onto the whole jewelry idea sorta accidentally…

Like I didn’t mean to think of it 🤣

Cause once I have an idea… it is on!!

So naturally, I made a couple wire wrapped sea glass pendants, drilled glass and made all sorts of wire creations…

It hit!!
I’m doing this!!
I need to learn how to silversmith NOW!

I probably came on a bit strong to an acquaintance who could show me the ropes and the rest is history!!

A wee 2.5 yrs ago this girl was a hairstylist who was only dreaming of new ways..

I never stopped loving hair, the desire for new knowledge was just stronger..

Now I’m a silversmith, a jewelry designer… but forever using my hands and my mind to create beauty…

It’s nice to reflect, making the Azra Ring will always take me back to the beginning of this journey.. at one point 🎶it was all a dream..🎶

Been reflecting on the power of words..

Have you ever been spiraling, panicking, worrying, running late, exhausted, broke, heartbroken etc etc..
and had someone interrupt you to say..

I have and I’ve also so needed to hear that and didn’t many many times

We hear it all..

The advice
The suggestions
The judgment

Most of the time we just need someone to listen, stay and say

When someone says that to me while I’m struggling..

I feel..

Relief
Love for myself
Surrender

It’s not just what we say..
