This right here is why I love my job❤️

Last week I reunited with an old friend, a sister if you may..

We cooked, caught up, teared up and connected

I will always love and care for her and parts of her story are so very familiar to me, a mother who’s love for her children radiates through her

Last minute before leaving them for awhile she was gifting her daughter a special necklace from me and when she found out her son would be there too, she asked if I had anything he might like..

I had one bullet ring left but it would be too big for him and when I showed her it she was like “darn, that would be cool, his favorite song is bulletproof”

I was able to make this in a pinch, stamp the back with his initial which could also be for “Mom” and get it to her just in time 🙏

It’s meaningful, sentimental and he LOVED it

He now has that little reminder of Mamas love to carry him through his days and that just so does it for me!!!

OH MY GOSH it has sure been awhile since I posted to my feed…

I’ve taken a bit of a step back since the beginning of the summer in hopes to soak up as much precious family time as possible

They say I’m going to miss these years and let me tell you I already do

I have a 22 year old and a 16 year old as well as the littles being 7and 5… my experience with my first two has shown me just that, I miss it!! I miss them being little and no matter how hard I try to slow down time… I just can’t

The best I’ve come up with is to just slow down in general🫶

I’m a creative, an artist, and I refuse to force art

If I don’t know what to make, I’m probably not making

If I’m uninspired (totally normal and expected at times) I wait for inspiration

I’m in love with this ring😍

It came to me from a pile of metal scraps sitting on my bench, thinking how can I make use of all these little pieces of beaded gold wire…

And here we are!!

I think she will become a permanent option on my website soon, available to customize to compliment your own unique style!

I hope to be back regularly, but only if it feels right

I love it even more when it’s calm without wind and I don’t have to put the wall up behind me blocking this gorgeous rose garden at Woodside Farm

It’s so dreamy and it definitely makes a stunning market tent backdrop

I’ve told myself a few times “it’s time to get back to reality” this summer…

I spent more time pondering that thought and what it means than anything else I did this summer…

As if being in the middle of nowhere with my family alongside a river that feels like it was made just for us isn’t reality

It’s been interesting to see how nothing fell apart being away or out of touch so long without connections or devices, without regular posting etc..

I believe it’s actually all fallen together, there is peace in the air and it’s niceeeeeee

I look forward do being here more regularly again but first…

The coolest little guy around turns 7 today!!!
