Dear MavenFair Customers

We are sending out this message to provide an update on what actions MavenFair is taking with regards to the United States suspending its duty-free "de minimis" threshold of US$800 for all countries including Canada. All shipments to the US will now require duties to be prepaid prior to them crossing the border. This is regardless of their value or country of origin.

We are going to temporarily install a block into the system that prevents purchases from US customers. This is only temporary and will be removed as soon as our new shipping module is in place. This step is necessary to prevent issues with packages being turned away at the border and to prevent you, the Maker, from incurring duty fees that are not currently being collected at time of purchase.
