Goal driven, hardworking and compassionate - these are the words that best describe me. My name

is Tyla Steyn and I am 23 years old.

I& #39;m a busy bee. During office hours I work at an estate agency where I am currently training to

become a property investor. I am also a part time Business Management student and as a newcomer

in the Pageant Industry I’m starting to develop a keen eye for fashion. I once read, “You can never be

over dressed or over educated.” and have stuck by this motto ever since.

On the weekends you can find me cooking a delicious meal in the kitchen or having a glass of wine

with friends. In winter or on rainy days I’ll be on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a romantic

movie – with all my furry friends of course.

I have a big family and we are all animal lovers. I’m blessed with 2 naughty brothers and 2 gorgeous

sisters. Both my dad and my older brother are involved in anti poaching while my mom and I like to

help out at the local SPCA.

As a provincial netball player I am a confident sportswoman and thrive from all kinds of exercise. I

also enjoy coaching netball and work part time at a private academy in Edenvale. The academy aims

at teaching young girls to stay fit and to be disciplined both on and off the court. I always encourage

sports for young, growing children as I strongly believe that a child on the court is a child out of

court.

Growing up I had the privilege of being surrounded by a bunch of music fanatics. Hence my favourite

quote is one by the legendary Bob Marley. “Love the life you live and live the life you love.” These

words have inspired me to fill the pages of my passport, eat the cake and buy the shoes.
