Introducing the Made in Japan Themed A159. This special edition of the A159 features the traditional Japanese ‘seigaiha’ pattern on its face. Meaning ‘blue ocean waves,’ this pattern features concentric arcs that represent waves, symbolising a wish for continuous peaceful days. The dial features an elegant finish achieved through vapour deposition and printing, shimmering subtly in the light and enhancing its contrast with the digital display. Available in silver and deep blue, both featuring the word ‘Casio’ in Japanese script on the back case to reflect its Japanese craftsmanship. Since its debut in 1983, G-SHOCK has continuously evolved through collaborations with diverse cultures. We are proud to present a new collaboration with artist and designer, Joshua Vides. Joshua Vides’ signature monochrome, comic-style graphics are applied across the watch, from the dial to the bezel and band. The white-based DW5600 is rendered with black graphics and a gloss finish, creating strong contrast and striking presence. It highlights Joshua’s hand-drawn dial artwork, and when the backlight is activated, his trademark “Cone” motif appears. It is the special edition model presented in custom packaging.
