Dennis Collins Jewellers, situated in East London, is the leading supplier of 9 & 18ct Gold and platinum fine jewellery, diamonds, tanzanite, coloured gemstones and many well known brands of ladies and gents watches. We are the exclusive stockists of world renowned and highly prized Rolex timepieces, Omega, fine quality Tag Heuer and Swatch watches. We also have our own in-house watch repair depar

tment. Dennis Collins started out in the jewellery business in 1977, when he began marketing diamonds to the public for a Pretoria based diamond cutting factory. It was when customers started asking what they could do with their loose diamonds that he decided to enter the retail jewellery industry and opened his first store in 1977. During the ‘80s Dennis ventured into a diamond cutting business in the Transkei as he had acquired a diamond concession on the West Coast. Customers are reassured by Dennis’ depth of knowledge as he has been involved in the whole process, from mining to cutting, polishing and marketing of these beautiful gems. In 1992 Dennis branched out of East London and opened a store in Queenstown which he sold after a number of years. In 2000 the Collins Family purchased the jewellery store next door to their premises in the Vincent Park Shopping Centre which further enhanced their position as the leading retail jewellery outlet in East London and in 2005, consolidated the stores and opened a unique and exclusive design and manufacture retail outlet in a beautifully remodeled house directly opposite the shopping centre. In November 2009 Dennis moved this branch to the new Hemingways Mall shopping complex, the largest shopping centre in the Eastern Cape comprising approx 200 stores, and which includes most of the up-market exclusive designer boutiques and popular brand retail outlets in S A.
