I’ve gone on sabbatical.

This past year has been a difficult one, both personally and professionally, and I’ve realised that I need a break. A real one.

A break from the constant hustle, the pressure to always create something new, and the endless demands of running a business and being available to everyone all the time.

So I’m doing something quite unprecedented for me - I’m stepping away.

Raimondo will be on sabbatical until September. Our out-of-office is on, and while the website will remain open, all orders will only be processed once we return.

I want this time to slow down, catch my breath, reconnect with myself, and simply be for a while.

Like the crab (a symbol of transformation, retreat, and renewal), I hope to return changed in some way. Softer perhaps, clearer, more inspired.

Sooooo, as you may or may not have noticed, I have been a bit scarce on here since the beginning of the year.

To be honest, the overwhelm was really, really bad at the end of the year - I was just juggling too much (especially in my personal life) and something had to give. So social media (and marketing in general) took the hit.

While I still have been plugging away at Raimondo quietly this year, I have taken more time for myself and my family and it’s been sooooo great for me. While I’m still not a 100% recovered (the burn out is real!), I just wanted to say hi, I’m still alive, Raimondo is still alive and I’m so grateful to all our friends, family and clients who continue to support me and my journey through this thing called life.
