Samantha’s family had been waiting for nearly two hours because she decided that morning was the perfect time to put on a load of laundry.
She had absolutely no idea what was happening.
With wet hair and no suspicions, she headed to Yard 41 with Cameron for what she thought was breakfast. He suggested they stop to look at the view over the Karkloof Valley, then admitted that he had lied.
Breakfast was not the main event.
He got down on one knee and said, “We’ve been doing this for eight years, but I want to do it forever. Will you marry me?”
Of course, she said yes 🤍
Her friend was recording, her family had driven from Durban, his family had been on the road since 2am, and even the weather understood the assignment.
