A very lovely and very personal piece I made for my oldest brother, for his very special birthday! He’s an avid reader (runs in the family!) and an all round good egg. The bookmark is made in brass and silver, patinated and with an emerald, the birthstone for May.
I had a lot of fun making this and it’s gone down well! Happy birthday Greg!

Some things on bench, on the way for a floral takeover window in for the gallery weekend.
I’m currently battling tennis elbow which is painful and entirely unrelated to tennis, and making it very difficult to get anything done! But here and there I’m creating some new shapes which have been living in my head for a long time- ready to bloom for the Roath Gallery Weekend!

This set is a one off, held together with a textured silver wrap, recycled sterling silver and priced at £185. Internal diameter 6.5cm (standard size)

Some recycled silver cuffs fresh out of the tumble polisher, giving gorgeous shine!
These are now with the Assay office in Birmingham where they test and stamp the silver to identify it as sterling silver, and add my makers mark.
These will go up on the website and the gallery when they are back, priced at £90 each. Perfect gifts if you don’t want to guess a size, as they open to fit any size wrist!

Bangles and cuffs are on the bench this week- some for orders, some for Christmas stock. If you think you’d like a beautiful bangle or a Christmassy cuff made especially for you, get in touch!
Bracelets can take longer to produce than some other designs as they are heavier weights and need to be sent off to the Assay office for Hallmarking, which adds time to the order- so if you’re thinking of a bespoke bangle, bracelet or cuff, now is the time to order!
