Whackadoodles & Wanderlust is based in the out skirts of Seattle Washington. A place “Where Spooning & Adventure Never Gets Old!” I'm in the business of rescuing vintage flatware, spoons mostly! It gives me great joy to bring each piece back to life! Every item created is handmade with LOVE and attention to detail. You'll see influence of the GREAT Northwest in each piece. Often, I'm asked where I

find my flatware. I shop thrift stores, yard sales, vintage markets, public auctions, estate sales and antique stores. Get to Know Mrs. Whackadoodle! I was born and raised in Washington State. Sometimes I say, "I'm the gypsy kid of Western Washington." I've lived as far north as Machias to as far south as Bonney Lake and a quite a few places in between. As a teen, my roots were planted in North Bend/Snoqualmie where I met my high school sweetheart and the love of my life. We've been blessed with 4 children, 3 boys and the grand finale, a girl! With all this said, my passion for antiques and a good sale, came from my mom. She and my aunt would have "thrift store days." We would start early in the morning until we could walk no more! My mom would give me a bill, sometimes $5, sometimes $20. She would challenge me to see who could get the most for their money. When we were lucky, we'd pass by a yard sale sign and follow it to the ends of the earth for a that good find! I hope to keep this tradition going for years to come! Aside from that, I love animals, camping, the great outdoors, food, nice people and more family time!! Looking forward to connecting with you some time!!
