Our Story

The year 1984 marked the birth of an innovative business force. Mega Jumbo – a new player in the jewelry business, has promised to deliver its utmost excellence and exclusivity to the consumers ever since. In our early years, we faced numerous challenges, including the impact of two global economy crises. Nevertheless, our company withstood the difficulties and held on to our vision, with sheer determination to succeed. In the year 1997, the town council began a long-term project to develop the business district. Not letting go of this golden opportunity, we decided to relocate our business premises to the new commercial center in 1998. This move not only helped generate remarkable profits for our business markedly, but also gained confidence for our newly appointed leader.

In an effort to remodel our business, we changed the name of our business from Kedai Emas Jumbo to Mega Jumbo Jewelry Sdn. Bhd. Adopting a more professional outlook. We expanded our business and branched out in 2004, taking a step towards reformation of our business structure. During this period of improvement, we were struck by the massive floods that afflicted the whole Kota Tinggi area. Progress of the whole town slowed down due to the Consecutive calamities at the end of 2006 and early 2007.

In spite of the destruction caused by the flood waves, our company recovered and got back in shape within a short period of time. From there on, our company has recruited highly-qualified employees and has offered training programs to enhance their knowledge of the business in order to provide the best service to our customers. Shop fronts were also given new looks, winning awards for our design. Also, our locations for new branches were chosen strategically based on extensive research, so that customers can shop with us more conveniently. Cutting-edge jewelry designs are imported from all over the world to facilitate the most eclectic of tastes. Constant improvements on the quantity and quality of our products are made to ensure that we are on track with the latest trends and fashion. After a series of massive improvements, we moved on and opened subsequent branches throughout the region, marking yet another impressive milestone for our company.

Although the effects of the economic downturn are still resonant, we continue to stick to our motto, that is “Founded on credibility, Pursue for excellence,” earning us the trust and support from our business associates and customers alike.
