I speak a lot about my dad when I’m on air for because he is the master jeweler who inspired my love of design and my mentor in this industry. However, the truth is that my mother is the backbone of our family who helped my father build his business and achieve his dreams. As the saying goes, “Behind every successful man is a strong woman.” Couldn’t be more true in their case.
Here is my young and fabulous mama, pregnant with my eldest brother in my father’s boutique in Maui. Their first child was born and raised on the island - and by some accounts, never really ever left. 😉

That’s my father at 24 years of age in his first jewelry store (Kitsinian Jewelers) in Maui, Hawaii. He had passion no doubt, but more importantly - he had vision. A vision to build, to create, to beautify. The skilled craftsman that he is, he actually built those genuine wood and brass display cases with his own two hands. He could have had someone else manufacture them for him, but it wouldn’t be as sweet. Not much has changed at all about my father. He still dreams - and he continues to build. 🙏🏻💙💎

Hawaii…it’s always been a second home for my family🌴🌞

After emigrating from his birthplace of Beirut, Lebanon, my young and ambitious father (and his new bride) moved to the United States with a dream. They settled and started their family in majestic Maui. This was my father’s jewelry store on the island of Maui. It was located on Front Street, a popular tourist and shopping destination on the stunning island.
Kitsinian Jewelers has always been a place where customers become friends…and nothing has changed since.
