We always love to hear from our amazing community 🌱🌍💛

Thank you for all the support and for planting trees with us! 🙌🏻

Through your support and the extraordinary work of our planting partners veritree and Earth Lungs, over 2.8 million mangrove trees have been planted.

Behind every tree are dedicated local communities working to restore coastal ecosystems, protect biodiversity and create a healthier future for the people and wildlife that depend on them.

Earth Lungs and their teams bring this restoration to life on the ground, while veritree helps monitor and verify the planting, bringing greater transparency to the impact we’re making together.

But none of this would be possible without you.

Every band you’ve chosen, every gift you’ve given and every conversation you’ve started has helped turn a small idea into something extraordinary.

These aren’t just trees we’ve planted. They’re trees YOU have made possible.

And while 2.8 million is an incredible milestone, what matters most is the life these mangrove forests can support for generations to come.

To our customers, our community and our incredible planting partners, thank you for making this possible. 💚

The Magic Of The Mangrove 🌱

Along the edges of our coastlines, mangroves are doing extraordinary work.

Their tangled roots create nurseries for marine life, provide habitat for wildlife, help stabilise coastlines and store carbon—all while supporting the communities that live alongside them.

Through our partnership with veritree, every Bands of Courage purchase helps fund the planting of mangrove trees, with technology used to help monitor and verify restoration.

And together, those individual trees have become something much bigger.

🌱 Over 2.8 million trees planted—and counting.

But for us, it has never been simply about a number.

It’s about restoring ecosystems. Supporting biodiversity. Creating opportunities for local communities. And helping rebuild the natural systems that life depends upon.

Because planting a tree is just the beginning.

What grows from it can reach far beyond its roots.

The gentle giants of the African savanna 🦒

With hearts weighing up to 11 kilograms and legs taller than most humans, giraffes are built to reach incredible heights. Yet despite their strength, their populations have quietly declined by nearly 40% in recent decades due to habitat loss, poaching, and human expansion.

As they roam, giraffes help shape ecosystems by spreading seeds and maintaining healthy vegetation for countless other species.

Protecting them means protecting the wild spaces they call home 🌍

The giraffe 🦒, graceful, peaceful, and increasingly vulnerable.

Known for their towering height and unique patterns, no two giraffes are ever the same. They move across the savanna with quiet strength, nurturing their young and living in loose social groups connected by curiosity and trust.

Today, fewer giraffes remain in the wild than many people realise, threatened by habitat destruction and illegal hunting.

Every species plays a role in nature’s balance, and the giraffe is no exception 🦒

The African elephant 🐘 the largest land mammal on Earth!

Their trunks contain over 40,000 muscles, allowing them to lift heavy branches, spray water, and even pick up something as small as a single blade of grass.

Their enormous ears help regulate body temperature, acting like natural cooling systems under the African sun.
Elephants can consume up to 150 kilograms of food in a single day and travel long distances in search of water during dry seasons. Their footprints can even create small water holes that benefit other wildlife.

Despite their size, calves rely heavily on the protection and care of the herd, learning survival skills through years of guidance and social interaction.

Every elephant plays a role in keeping nature connected, reminding us how incredible and essential wildlife truly is 🌍
