WHY IS MATCHA SHADED BEFORE HARVEST? 🌱

Before harvest, tea plants are covered to reduce direct sunlight. This process helps the young leaves develop:

💚 Deeper green color
💚 Richer umami
💚 Smoother, less astringent taste

This is one of the key foundations of Ceremonial Matcha. But shade alone is not enough. Leaf selection, harvest timing, processing, fine milling and QC all shape the final cup.

ECO GOOD Ceremonial Matcha follows Japanese-style shaded cultivation in Bao Loc, Vietnam, creating a clean, smooth profile with a naturally sweet finish.

GOOD TASTE. GOOD FLAVOR. GOOD COLOR. 💚🥥

Why is Coconut Matcha better with ECO GOOD Ceremonial Matcha?

Good taste - smooth, creamy and well-balanced with coconut.

Good flavor - rich matcha remains noticeable instead of being covered by the sweetness.

Good color - a vibrant green that makes every cup look fresh and premium.

ECO GOOD Ceremonial Matcha is one of our best-selling products, made for cafés that need great quality and consistent results in every serving.

FROM FARM TO CUP: QC FOR CEREMONIAL MATCHA 🌱

The rich green color of Ceremonial Matcha does not begin in the cup. It begins in the field.

Our Ceremonial Matcha profile starts in Bao Loc, Vietnam, with Japanese-style shaded cultivation. Reducing direct sunlight helps the young leaves develop more chlorophyll and supports a smoother, more umami-forward taste.

Every stage contributes to the final cup:

1. Shaded cultivation

The tea plants are protected from direct sunlight before harvest to support color, aroma and taste development.

2. Selective harvesting

Young shoots with one bud and two leaves are selected for a cleaner and more refined profile.

3. Controlled processing

The leaves are steamed, cooled and dried to help limit oxidation and preserve their fresh green character.

4. Fine milling

The processed leaves are carefully milled into a fine powder with close attention to heat, texture and consistency.

5. Batch QC and cup testing

Each batch is evaluated for color, aroma, fineness, dispersibility, taste and aftertaste before it is selected for the Ceremonial Matcha line.

The result is a Matcha with:

💚 Rich umami
💚 Clean taste
💚 Smooth texture
💚 Naturally sweet aftertaste
💚 A vivid green appearance

Best enjoyed as straight Matcha or used in premium specialty beverages where the quality of the Matcha remains the main focus.

Making matcha for the first time? Try this simple two-pour method.

1. Sift 3 g of matcha into a bowl.
2. Add 10 ml of water and mix until smooth, with no dry lumps.
3. Add another 30 ml of water.
4. Whisk quickly in an M or W motion until smooth.

Starting with a small amount of water helps the matcha blend more evenly.

A brighter green can catch the eye. But color is only the first check.

When comparing matcha for a café menu, we also look at:

- aroma and taste
- texture and solubility
- performance with milk and other ingredients
- dosage and cost per serving

The right choice is the one that works in the finished drink and fits the way your team prepares it.

FROM COFFEE CHERRY TO GREEN BEAN

Coffee processing continues long after harvest.

Cherries are sorted, processed using Natural, Washed or Honey methods, dried, hulled and graded before becoming green coffee ready for roasting.

Each step helps prepare the coffee for storage, export and roasting.

UPDATE FROM THE DRYING BEDS

Fresh coffee cherries are now moving through the drying stage.

At this point, regular turning and close monitoring help promote more even drying before the next steps in processing.
