Muhammad Waseem (born 29 August 1987) ] is a Pakistani professional boxer from Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan, who competes at flyweight and is Pakistan's first professional boxer. Early life
Muhammad Waseem was born on 29 August 1987, in the c
ity of Quetta in the province of Balochistan, Pakistan as one of six brothers to a Pakistani father who was a Govt. servant, and a Pakistani mother. In 2012, Muhammad Waseem was chosen to be AIBA professional (APB), however, just as he prepared for the big stage, his participation failed to be confirmed, to which he stated;
"...I don't know what went wrong. The federation was dealing with the matter and then nothing evolved out of it, which is really disappointing. I wanted to take on the best boxers of the world but my dream was shattered..." He says he now plans to keep winning medals so that he is eventually recognized and offered a contract. Muhammad Waseem Joined Professional Boxing in June 2015 and signed the contract with Korean Promoter Mr. So far he has five professional fights and has won all of them.[citation needed] He entered the professional Boxing Arena in Style and had defeated the KBC (Korean Boxing Commission) title holder Min Wook Lee of South Korea by knocking him down in 9th Round and Snatched the KBC title on 4 October 2015. In his 2nd Professional Fight he played with Suparyanto Doglo from Indonesia. Muhammad Waseem Knocked him down by strong body shot and won the fight in 3rd Round on 5 December 2015. Muhammad Waseem played his 3rd Professional fight with experienced Jhon Bajawa of Indonesia. Waseem Knocked down Jhon Bajawa in 6th round by a strong body shot and claimed the fight on 19 March 2016
