Congraulations to our GR Diamonds 12U Vanlangen team as they are Stevensville Pirate Quest tournament champions! The team on the weekend went 6-0-1 in a packed 12U division. It was an all Diamonds final as they came out on top vs our GR Diamonds Bowen team in the championship game. Congraulations to both Diamonds teams on the championship and runner-up!

Congrats to our GR Diamonds Fire 13u team as they had a great weekend winning their first championship of the year in Mt. Pleasant. The Fire had contributions up and down the roster that led to two come from behind wins including a walk off double to make the Championship game. Great job players and coaches!

Congraulations to our GR Diamonds Thomas 12U team. They are champs of the USSSA Mother’s Day classic in Coloma from this past weekend. During the weekend, they went undefeated on their way to the championship with their lineup hitting.443 and their pitchers giving up no runs. Great job ladies and coaches!

Congraulations to our GR Diamonds - Thayer/Connell 13U as they went 6-0 at the USSSA Cinco De Mayo tournament and brought home the championship! 🏆

This one was extra special—it’s the last time this group will get to play in this tournament based on age, and they’re going out back-to-back champions after winning it last year too.

The team faced some great competition and battled back from behind just to reach the championship game… and then doing it again. Two international tie-breakers later, they found a way to win it all!

Great job to the players and coaches on a successful weekend!

Congraulations to our GR Diamonds Ritsema 8U team on winning the Cinco De Mayo tournament this past weekend. The girls secured the number 1 seed going into bracket. The girls played in 30 degree weather in the first game on Sunday, then high winds and rain sprinkles in the 2nd game Sunday to a further mix of weather in the championship game against Elite. In the championship game, after going up 1, Elite came back and scored 2 in the top of the final inning. During Diamonds last at bat as the home team, with two outs left and down to two strikes in each at bat, the girls rallied to tie it and walk it off for the win. They are getting to learn young that the game isn't finished till it is done and twice now they have played to the end to get the win. Great job to our 8u team!

Same weekend, another team coming out on top. Our GR Diamonds 9u Strotheide team won the USSSA Ring in the Season championship. 13 hours of play on Sunday for this young team as they beat an Aresonal team that beat them the day before. The girls bats were rocking and made some tremendous defensive plays. The rings and trophy were definitely earned! Well done ladies and coaches! đź’Ž

Congratulations to our GR Diamonds - Berens 12U team who went 6-1 in the Peace, Love, & Softball tournament and took home the championship. It was a total team win with each girl collecting at least 5 hits on the weekend. They battled each game and found ways to win coming from behind in all 4 of their bracket play games. Congrats players and coaches.

Congraulations to our Diamonds 14U sandlot team on winning the Peace, Love and Softball tournament in Hudsonville. The team went 5-2 on the weekend, outscoring their opponents 71-20. They avenged their loss in the Diamonds vs Diamonds championship game against our Thayer/Connell 13U team. It was a great battle and great job by the players and coaches!
