Hartgers Jewelers has roots that trace back to Amsterdam, Holland, where Herman Hartgers began his professional career in 1880 as a diamond setter. After immigration in 1888, Hartgers Jewelers was established on Canal Street in New York City. Eventually, the business moved to an elagant, renovated farmouse in Wyckoff, NJ. along with his four sons: Jack, David, Robert Jr. and Gregg, built Hartgers Jewelers into one of the finest jewelry business in the Tri-State area.
