We were able to spend a little time on the bandsaw mill yesterday. This curly black walnut has some spectacular grain. This came from a storm damaged tree on the Historic Rose Hill Plantation State Park site. Can’t wait to see what we pull out of this.

Giveaway! Let’s do another one for the month of August! 3 ways to win so read to the bottom!!!

10 years… 😳it’s been 10 years since we went full time in this business…well 10 yrs for Russ, but I was a little more cautious, so my 10 year mark will be next year.

Anyway, I wanted to pull some pieces out from over the years to see how we have progressed, so here are a few of those. I wish I had more pieces from the earliest years.

We would love for anyone and everyone that has purchased from us in years past or even recently to show some pictures of anything you have purchased in the comments. Tell us where you are from and the year of each piece.

For this giveaway, react to and share the post, and attach a photo of what you have purchased. If you have multiple pieces, show them in separate comments for multiple chances to win. If you gave pieces away as gifts, just comment what you bought and no photo is necessary! One step forward… two steps back. The chainsaw mill is down, joining our broken down skid steer, tractor and golf cart. And our biggest lathe is hanging by a thread. If we did not have bad luck with equipment, we would not have any luck. Maybe after the Christmas season, we will buy all new equipment 😂😂.

As easy as it is to get discouraged, we recognize how blessed we are and are thankful everything that really matters is all good. Great family, friends and health. We are blessed!

Several people asked about coming by this week since they missed Saturday or came after the lamps sold out. This morning I moved everything that’s left to one end of the gallery to take photos of what’s left. I also had to include one shot of the empty shelves😂. I did not realize how much we sold until I consolidated everything on one end!

The only thing that sold out completely was the mini-vase rechargeable lamps. We have another batch already in process that will be finished this week though.

If anyone wants to come by this week, message us first to make sure we will be there. I plan to work in the shop from 8-12 Saturday so you are welcome to stop by then as well.

Winner of online drawing announcement!!

First, I just wanted to thank everyone once again for the support of our Christmas in July sale yesterday. I probably sound like a broken record(and yesterday was record breaking😂), but we were blown away with the crowd that came out. Words cannot express our gratitude. And thanks for everyone’s patience when the line got long and there was little room to move around!

Thanks also to everyone that reacted to, commented on, and shared our posts leading up to Saturday. Y’all are the reason we had such a good turnout!
