Today is my Dad Bob Simmons Sr’s 99 th Birthday
He was Born in Samson Alabama July 27 1926. He went to Watch Makers School and Jewelry Repairing. Moved to Winter Park in 1953 He started at 306 Park Ave South. A few years later moved to 208 N Park and many years later moved to our Bigger Store 220 N. We were in that block for 68 years until we were notified that they would not renew our lease. I SAID WHY ???????? He said I have OTHER PLANS for you Location You can see now what His plans were. I’m Very Thankful My Dad did not see what they did to our Beautiful Store that I spent over 250,000. We were Desperate to find a place Quickly and I did. We moved back to where my Dad first started in 1953 where Tailors Pharmacy Was 306 Park Ave South . My Dad started training me right out of High School I’ve been in the Jewelry Business now 52 years. I told this story because Most People think we left because the Rent was toooo High. Ye$ it wa$ but no we were Booted out without any warning. I think my wonderful Dad found us our New Location. Please come Visit
