I just finished one of the most amazing weeks of my life! I spent five days at the Bullseye Glass learning center taking classes 9 to 5 every day.

We were studying the reactions between different colors of glasses based on their chemical makeup. For example, copper and sulfur react and create other colors.

One of the highlights was that we got to create two of our own sheets of glass on the production floor in the factory!

Faux pas Friday. This vase was done in draping process (using a piece of glass over a form and it melts around it).

It’s always tricky to know how long it will take. I checked it at 45 minutes and it looks like it was a little too long as you can see at the bottom it is thinner than I would like.

This will be available in my prize box. Those of you who shop in person know that when you buy something at my sunroom shop, I’ll let you pick out something from the prize box.

Kind of like the dentist when you were a kid and you got to pick out a fun thing.
