🍀 A Four-Leaf Clover and a Grateful Heart 🍀
Monday morning, I found a four-leaf clover.
I’ve been searching for one for months during my morning walks with Lucy. Those walks have become one of my favorite parts of the day, a chance to stretch, connect with neighbors, say good morning to the animals we meet along the way, and simply appreciate the beauty around me.
The timing felt meaningful.
This past weekend I completed a summer craft show on my own, something that felt especially significant after my recent health challenges and recovery. I was grateful simply to be there, feeling healthy, strong, and able to do what I love again.
Then the weather changed.
Our show experienced torrential rain, lightning, and a dramatic summer storm. Across the region there were reports of flooding, downed trees, microbursts, and serious damage. Thankfully, our venue was spared by the destructive winds.
The organizers acted quickly, keeping everyone informed and safely sheltered until the storm passed. Their professionalism and care made all the difference. One of my favorite moments of the weekend was sharing a rare spontaneous photo with Lisa, Joan, and Marcy Boroff of Renaissance Craftables. These three sisters continue the work their mother, Barbara Boroff, began more than 25 years ago, producing quality fine craft festivals throughout New Jersey and the Philadelphia region. ❤️
This little four-leaf clover feels like a reminder to pause and appreciate just how fortunate we are.
And because gratitude is best when shared...
