2ND ANNIVERSARY
2023

We held our group's 2nd anniversary (Old West Social Club) at our first meeting place (The Canyon Club) in Williams, Az. At least three members couldn't make it so we are at approximately 12 members strong, with a few joining us for special events and parades.

After the meeting several of us went on a local field trip to the 19th century logging train trestle ruins. Amazing it's still there considering it was all logs, which attests to how well it was constructed! It's definitely a spot for a future group field trip.

The (award winning) Old West Social Club will be meeting this Saturday, December 10 from 11:00AM-1:00PM at the Gateway Sandwich Company (428 W. Route 66). Come join us as we gather to jaw jack and show and tell our historical treasures. All are welcome!

EVENT WAS POSTPONED UNTIL OCTOBER 29TH!

It's called the Old West Oktoberfest. An all-day (11am-9pm) event on October 22nd. Should we attend as a group? Individually?

HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY!
Old West Social Club

Saturday was our groups one-year anniversary, so we held our monthly meeting where it all began: The Canyon Club in Williams, Arizona.

Show & Tell
* Jay Redfeather brought two beautiful antique watches with equally wonderful watch chains.

* Jeff Smith shared a Victorian (naughty) spinner, a watch chain charm that the wearer could spin by flicking it with a finger.

* Cliff Hall brought two full color gun auction catalogs that including one of "Wild Bill" Hickok's infamous C**t Navy pistols. Cliff also brought a book, "Daring Deeds and Thrilling Adventures" (1906).

* Doug Howzer brought a collection of spurs and discussed the history of spurs from the 1700s up to the 19th century.
