Good evening! I'm normally a very private person but I want to share something. I've been struggling with my mental health and was diagnosed a month ago with severe depression and anxiety. After spending some time at a crisis treatment center I'm slowly trying to find my way through this and am so grateful to my family for all of their support!

That being said, I have been making candles but I'm also being mindful to ensure it remains a calming and healing activity for me and not getting sucked into the tendency I have to put a lot of pressure on myself. I haven't been posting pics or videos but I am excited to share a couple photos I snapped.

See you next Saturday at the block! My supply will be more limited than normal but I've poured my heart and soul into these ones so I hope you all enjoy it.

Don't forget, September is Su***de Awareness month. Take this time to check on your family and friends. Depression is so easy to hide and can be deadly! A little compassion can make all the difference in the world 💜

✨ THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

Ending on a high note 🥹✨

I’m beyond thrilled to share that I’ve been accepted into one of Colorado’s most prestigious shows — Mollie McGee’s Craft Market! 🕯️🍂

This incredible event is held at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in the fall, and it’s notoriously difficult to get into. I’m so honored (and honestly a little overwhelmed!) to have been selected as one of their new vendors this year.

This makes my second announcement feel even more meaningful — while I’ll be taking a pause for the spring and summer to rest and spend time with my family, I’ll be coming back this fall with something really special for this show 💛

I can’t wait to pour everything into my fall collection and create something truly magical for you all.

I'm beyond honored. This is my before and after of the market today. 🥹 You all made this so special and I sold out of so much. I have the most amazing customers and have made so many friends doing my little candle gig. I love that I can share something that makes people happy. ✨ SECOND ANNOUNCEMENT ✨

This one is a little more personal 🤍

After this weekend’s show, I’ll be taking some time away from Candle Bakery to be with my family. I’ve been feeling pretty burned out lately, and after recently losing one of our dogs, I’m choosing to step back and take some time to rest and be present for my family.

Because of that, I’ll be pausing my business for the rest of the spring and summer season.

This wasn’t an easy decision, but it’s the right one for me right now. I’m so grateful for all of the love and support you’ve shown my small business — it truly means everything to me.

Candle Bakery will be back this fall, and I already have so many cozy ideas I can’t wait to bring to life when I return 🕯️🍂

If you’ve been wanting to shop, this Saturday’s event will be the perfect chance to grab your favorites 🤍
