🚨 FAKE MONEY ALERT IN PINE BLUFF 🚨

From The Heat inbox — another local business owner sent in photos of what appears to be fake money that has reportedly been passed around the city.

As you can see in the photo, the bill clearly states “FOR MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES” and “THIS NOTE IS FOR MOTION PICTURE PURPOSES, IT IS NOT LEGAL TENDER.” These types of bills are often used as prop money for videos, movies, or social media content, but some individuals are allegedly attempting to pass them as real cash.

💵 Business owners, cashiers, and residents are encouraged to carefully inspect all cash transactions — especially larger bills.

Please pay attention to:
🔍 Watermarks
🔍 Security strips
🔍 Texture of the bill
🔍 Wording such as “Motion Picture Purposes” or “Copy”

If you believe you’ve received counterfeit or prop money, contact local law enforcement immediately.

Stay alert and protect your business. 👀

Watson Chapel School District's Summer Meal Program starts June 3rd with 5-day meal pick ups. Pick up is 11-1 at Coleman Elementary. For each Wednesday pick up, we ask that you complete the pick up form.

Meal pick up is for anyone 18 years and younger, they do not need to be Watson Chapel students.
