Northern Neck Waterfowl & Wildlife Expo The 2nd Annual Northern Neck Waterfowl & Wildlife Expo will be held March 21st and 22nd 2026. Admission is $10 per person, 12 and under will be free.

The Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show is now the Northern Neck Waterfowl & Wildlife Expo. This event will take place the third weekend in March with many of the same artists and carvers that attended the Rappahannock River Waterfowl Show along with some new exhibitors. Original paintings, prints, carvings of life-size and miniature birds of all kinds, decoys for display or hunting, antique decoys,

exquisite bronze sculptures, and handcrafted jewelry will be available to purchase or enjoy viewing. The Expo will be held on March 15th & 16th, 2025 at the White Stone Volunteer Fire Department from 10-5 on the 15th and 10-4 on the 16th.

Thank you to everyone that came out to the show this weekend. It’s never to early to start thinking about next year and with that being said we are happy to announce that the 2027 event will be held March 20th and 21st with the preview night gala being held on the evening of the 19th!

It’s almost showtime! We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend! Doors open at 6pm Friday for those that have purchased preview night tickets and at 10am Saturday and Sunday for the public. Don’t forget that in addition to all of the great exhibitors we have food served by the fire department including, fried oysters and soft crabs, BBQ, hot dogs, fries, clam chowder and more! You also get a chance to win door prizes! Friday night’s door prize is a wood duck carved by Jim Britton of Reedville and the weekend door prize is a print by Mary Lou Troutman. Every attendee also gets a copy of this year’s show print by John Obolewicz of a very well known local landmark!

We have a total of 47 exhibitors this year displaying a wide variety of items including:

-Waterfowl/Wildlife Paintings and Drawings
-Workboat Paintings
-Wildlife Photography
-Handmade Model Workboats

Today we are excited to share our door prize for the preview night event. This year’s preview night door prize is a wood duck carved by longtime show exhibitor and Reedville based carver, Jim Britton.

As a reminder preview night is held Friday evening before the show opens on Saturday. Preview night features catering by Willaby's Cafe and Catering along with free beer, wine and soft drinks along with a cash bar. We are excited to unveil, for the first time, our 2026 Show Print. This is the second in a series of locally themed works by Powhatan based artist and long time show exhibitor John Obolewicz.

All you need to do to get a copy of this print is to buy a ticket to the show at the door Saturday or Sunday March 21-22! Even better, if you pre-purchase tickets to our preview night gala you will receive a signed and numbered copy.

Showtime is approaching fast! We have been busy processing registrations and working on the floor plan. As of today we are sitting at 45 exhibitors for this year’s show which is up by six over last year at this time.

Now let’s talk about the preview night gala. Preview night is a special event that kicks off the show weekend and gives you an opportunity to buy from our exhibitors before the show opens to the public on Saturday morning. This event is catered by Willaby's Cafe and Catering and features both a beer and wine bar along with a cash bar. We are mailing out invitations to attendees from last year this week. Please note the change in date! We will be holding the show, as we have in the past, on the 3rd weekend of March which will be the 21-22 with preview night being held the evening of the 20th. I incorrectly assumed the same dates from 2025 would line up with that 3rd weekend, my apologies for the confusion!
