Market season is my favorite for a reason.

There's something about setting up the booth, arranging all the color, and watching people light up when they walk over. The Big Red Barn event is the perfect way to kick things off.

My husband probably didn't expect "help spray paint jewelry displays" to be on the to-do list... but here we are. 😂

Summer market season is coming, which means it's time to refresh everything. Fresh paint. Clean setups. Displays that make the jewelry shine.

This is one of my favorite parts of prep because it's hands-on, grounding, and gets me excited for what's ahead. Markets are where I get to meet you face-to-face, watch you try on pieces, and see your whole vibe light up when you find the one.

The Big Red Barn Folk Arts & Crafters Fair will be THIS SATURDAY, May 9th, 10 am - 4 pm!

🚗🚙 Parking is at Mariner Middle School, with a convenient shuttle to bring you to the Maplewood Area Historical Society! 🚙🚗

Starting at 10:00 am, the shuttle runs continuously to the Fair at MAHS - Bruentrup Heritage Farm and is ADA accessible.

There is no fee to ride the shuttle.

This wildly popular event is a fundraiser, supporting the preservation of the Maplewood Area Historical Society's 12 historic structures dating back to 1891.

The Big Red Barn Folk Arts & Crafters Fair will be held 10 AM – 4 PM on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at the Maplewood Area Historical Society – Bruentrup Heritage Farm located at 2170 County Road D E, Maplewood MN 55109.
