Today's Laundry Poem:

In a laundromat so dim and tight,
Where socks and shirts are lost from sight,
The dryer hums a lullaby,
While stains on shirts begin to cry.

The quarters jingle, toss, and spin,
A small change game where no one wins,
And mysterious, the washing machine
Swallows my favorite jeans unseen.

A basket full of laundry waits,
As lint collects on spinny plates,
The softeners dance, the detergents sing,
A sudsy, bubbly, foamy fling.

The dryers tumble, tumble, tumble,
And sometimes socks just like to rumble,
One’s missing, and you start to fret,
Where’s my pair? A mystery yet.

The cycle ends, the bell dings clear,
You face the pile with sweaty fear,
Yet in this jumble, there’s one truth—
The lost sock’s just a laundry sleuth!

So laugh and dry, and fold with cheer,
For laundry's woes are quite sincere,
But amidst the chaos, spin, and whirl,
You’ll find fresh clothes and maybe pearls!
