The Legend of St. Christopher--

The name Christopher means "Christ-bearer". According to Christian legend, Christopher was a large, strong man who dedicated his life to helping people cross a treacherous, rushing river. One day, he carried a small child across the water who became unimaginably heavy. The child revealed himself to be Jesus Christ, explaining that Christopher had just carried the weight of the entire world and its sins on his shoulders.
