Does anyone else do the lazy-girl’s version of ironing where you just press the collar and button placket? I actually like my linen to be rumply but also need my placket to actually close! Am I the only one who does this?

Had fun with some sequins, beads, and an old t-shirt! Inspired by Joy Cho / Oh Joy! ‘s recent post, I sewed some sparkle and color onto the neck of this dull t-shirt. I love how it came out but might add more. What do you think? Should I add more?

In case you missed it in my stories yesterday, I’m dealing some copyright infringement issues with Temu and Shein. Both sites are using my original image (Libby & Smee bracelets with my original designs, photographed by me on my own wrist) and then selling cheaply made knock-offs. I’ve reported it to their Copyright Infringement departments and I’m awaiting a resolution. I’m afraid that even if I can get these listings taken down, it will continue to happen with future listings, but I’m going to keep fighting. Just FYI — did you know that the second you take a photo, you own the copyright to that photo? I don’t have patents on my design so I didn’t think that I would be able to fight this — and unfortunately, I can’t fight the fact that what they’re selling is clearly inspired by my designs — but I can fight the use of my image. I’ve sent them documentation proving that I took this particular image in 2021 and I’m hoping for the best. It’s very disturbing to see the freckles on your wrist on someone else’s website but for now, I’m trying to move past it. Onward and upward! And hey — who knew I was such a hot bracelet model?!? 😉 If you want to support small business and purchase the real deal (made with Japanese glass beads, silk cord, and gold-filled crimps, and hand-beaded by yours truly), I’ve linked my listing!
