This Thursday, February 1st, I will be at VIVA Gallery in Viroqua, WI. from 5-7. It is their First Thursday event. Ken Workowski, of The Nature of Things, and I collaborated on an iron and wood table. Other VIVA artists will have their works on display as well. The theme is, "A River Runs Through It". Pictures taken towards the end of the Driftless Area Art Festival, last Sunday. There was a pretty good crowd over the 2 days. Talked to quite a few people. Sales were pretty good. Now to get ready for the Holiday market in November and December at VIVA Gallery in Viroqua, WI.

I was in the shop today working on parts for a table base. I prefer to forge with gas, but the parts Won't fit in my forge. Love the smell of a coal fire when it just starting. The smoke is probably not good for my lungs, though.

Got the ok to start on a tree-themed table base. I am collaborating with Ken Workowski from Nature of Things (check them out on FB). It should be an interesting combination of wood and iron. I still need to make some tooling before getting started, which hopefully happens within the next month. I will try to post photos.
