These are a couple works in progress that I have been playing with this weekend. “6 Gun Salute” is a tribute to my dad that passed away 4 years ago. He loved collecting and shooting guns! The stone is an agate that is self collected and self cabbed and comes from the hillside where his ashes were spread. The second is a beauty I am titling “Keeper of the stars”, she is a copper pressing from a Potter USA die and I am using a small lapis lazuli cab the reminds me of the night sky. Stay tuned to see these two pendants finished in all of their glory!

I had a chance to play in the shop today. I have not had much time for that lately and really needed it 😊. Vitreous enamel with P-1 overglaze and Mason Stains. The dragonfly is 6”x6.5”! This is cut and embossed using a Dar Shelton die system. Biggest enamel I have ever done! The penguins are cute too! They are cut with a die from .com_ , I will definitely use it again! I used old Blythe T7 (arctic white) as the base coat and had some interesting bleed through on the P-1. I actually like it! I will try it using an unleaded base coat next time though; penguins should be black and white without so many speckles. 😂. These penguins will become earrings and will be getting in the Etsy shop soon! Keep an eye out if you are a penguin lover!
