To everyone that has inquired on when I plan to return silversmithing, here is a look into the silver market. When I started silversmithing in ‘23 silver was $18 per oz it has now reached a record high of $95.70 per oz! A 6”x6” sheet of metal that once cost $90 is now $600. Making it extremely hard to make reasonable prices for my customers. I still plan to silversmith but hopefully it returns to a market where I can sell again. Hold on to your turquoise it only continues to increase in value!
