❤️ In Loving Memory of Chef Steve ❤️

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chef Steve.

Chef Steve was more than our chef — he was part of the heart of our West Bridgewater Council on Aging family. Through countless meals, conversations, and everyday moments, he brought comfort, kindness, humor, and care to so many.

Many of us will remember him just like this — in the kitchen, making something special and making sure everyone was fed with love.

One phrase we’ll especially remember hearing from Steve was:
“It’s all good.”

Simple words, but they reflected his spirit — steady, caring, and always moving forward.

We are grateful for the time we shared with him and for all the memories he helped create.

Please keep his family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved him in your thoughts during this difficult time.

A Ritz-y Afternoon to Remember ✨🖤

Four of our West Bridgewater COA seniors had the wonderful opportunity to attend Putting on the Ritz in Plymouth this spring!

Hosted each year by the Plymouth Council on Aging (Center for Active Living), this special gala gives seniors a chance to enjoy an afternoon filled with music, dancing, laughter, friendship, and a little extra sparkle.

This year, West Bridgewater COA was gifted four complimentary tickets, and these lucky ladies represented us beautifully! From dancing and smiling to striking poses at the photo backdrop, it looks like they made the most of every moment.

And to make the day even sweeter — our very own Linda was the lucky winner of one of the raffle prizes! 🎉 We love seeing our seniors celebrated and enjoying special moments like these.

A heartfelt thank you to our friends in Plymouth for sharing this memorable experience with our seniors. ❤️

Because fun, friendship, and making memories never go out of style. ✨

Lighting the Way with Creativity 🗼❤️🤍💙

Lauren visited us again and led another wonderful craft class — this time helping our seniors create these beautiful solar lighthouses!

Each lighthouse became its own little work of art with personal touches, colors, and creative details. It was so much fun watching everyone bring their projects to life one brushstroke at a time.

Thank you, Lauren, for sharing your creativity and making the afternoon so enjoyable. Our seniors absolutely loved this project — and we think the finished lighthouses came out amazing! ☀️🖌️

Little Leos + Big Smiles 🩷🎲
Last Thursday, we had a wonderful visit from the Little Leos! Our 4th and 5th grade guests, chaperoned by Ms. Mills, joined our seniors for an afternoon of board games, laughter, and conversation.

From Hedbanz to Gone Fishin’ to classic table games, friendships were made across generations — and after all the fun, everyone stayed to enjoy lunch together. 🍽️

Thank you to the Little Leos and Ms. Mills for spending time with us and reminding us that connection, kindness, and a little friendly competition bring all ages together. We loved having you and hope to see you again soon! 💛

Today, one of our Sunshine Supply arrangements found its way to a very special senior after an unexpected surgery. 💜

This beautiful arrangement was lovingly created from one of our community-donated vases and filled with flowers, butterflies, a tiny teddy bear, and lots of love from her COA family.

At the West Bridgewater Council on Aging, we believe small acts of kindness can brighten even the hardest days. Sometimes it’s not just about flowers — it’s about reminding someone they are thought of, cared about, and never alone.

Our May Birthday Bash at the West Bridgewater Council on Aging was an AMAZING success! 💃🕺

The music was rocking, the dance floor was full, the cupcakes were delicious, and the birthday smiles were absolutely priceless. From dancing in the center of the room to dancing right in their seats, everyone joined in the fun — and Chuck Palmer truly brought the energy! 🎶❤️

Our birthday babies were celebrated with:🎂 Birthday cupcakes🍫 Custom birthday candy bars🎈 Birthday necklaces🎶 Live entertainment💙 And a room full of laughter, friendship, and joy

These are the moments that make our COA feel like home.

💐 And a very special Happy Birthday to our fifth May birthday celebrant whose photo was accidentally missed during all the fun and excitement yesterday! We celebrated FIVE wonderful May birthday babies, and we’re so glad you were born too! ❤️
