My Dad is in the Process of retiring and I will be building a shop to continue doing repairs.

Well I had plans this last week to get out to the shop and get some jobs completed in the evenings after work but...I appear to have picked up some allergies or some kind of cold that has knocked me for a loop and I haven't had a chance. I am trying to turn out jobs as quickly as I can, I have some time off work coming up where I can be more attentive to those projects.

Good morning all, glad the smoke is gone! Had an opportunity to make my first white gold bar at my shop for a custom job coming up.
Dad had a real nice set up for doing this down at the shop but I had to create my own! I also had to cut into a pure gold bar to make it happen, after the bar was poured I got to use my new rolling mill. Fun stuff! Back to regular work this week but I will share some of the projects I've been completing, stay tuned and have a great weekend

Been an incredible last few weeks. People are getting engaged and looking for rings. Dads store closed and my shop is ramping up. Had some opportunities to stop in and visit with dad as the last few things were getting moved out...lots of memories...almost 10 years in that locations and 17+ in the other location. Got to squeeze in a few fun projects including a cross and cutting into .999 pure gold bar to make some white gold for another project. God is Good

As some may have heard and word is slowly getting around my Father Bruce Simpson the Jeweler is getting ready to close his shop and retire. I have been down at the shop helping him with Projects and will be setting up a small shop in spring to do repairs to keep the Simpson Jeweler name alive.
