Hey everyone! 🌿💚 I’m Yuhan, a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying economics and self-studying Chinese, and I’m thrilled to finally share what I’ve been working on for the past year—Eeko Friendly! This journey started with my love for jade and its spiritual properties, and now, I’m bringing high-quality jade and chalcedony jewelry from the Chinese mainland directly to the U.S. market.
Did you know that in China, you can buy a jewelry carving machine and craft your own pieces from scratch? 🤯 I’m fascinated by the cultural significance of jade—it’s a stone that’s meant to be worn until it breaks, symbolizing that it has protected you. While there’s no scientific proof, I’ve personally witnessed its protective properties. With everything going on—from mass shootings to economic struggles (at least in Philadelphia, my home)—I truly believe in the power of jade to provide divine protection.
This business is brand new, and I’m being completely transparent from the start. I’m showing you 2 screenshots—1 from a small business I own as a notary to fund this business, and 1 from the brand new business. I’ll also be uploaded my financial statements somewhere on our site. I haven’t sold anything yet, but I’m so passionate about delivering products that can protect and uplift families. 🌟 I also have to use this Alibaba crafting machine somehow.
Our Chinese name, 一口福礼 (ee-kow-foo-lee), loosely translates to “a mouth full of blessings,” and that’s what we hope to bring you through our jewelry. Jade is meant to be a gift, and we’ll even have guides on how to measure your hand for a perfect jade bangle. Mothers and daughters especially should gift jade to each other—every piece is unique and special.
Our jade is sourced directly from China and Myanmar and then it’s refined ourselves. Some Chinese companies have expressed interest in working with me to also enter the market so we also market their products for them, and I’m working with great Chinese friends to bring these meaningful pieces to the U.S. Stay tuned for more updates, and I can’t wait to introduce the products to you all! 💚✨
