I’d gotten so good at adapting to my symptoms over the years & thinking they were normal that it took incredible physiological stress to cause a flare to get me to do my own research, advocate for my health, & get answers, even if the answers themselves weren’t comforting, it’s reassuring knowing exactly what’s going on. Now I can learn how to best manage & ensure I’m taking all the preventative measures necessary to try to avoid dangerous outcomes.
