Inspired from a creative upbringing amidst the glacier lakes of Canada, Summer Ellis as a young designer, began offering her delicately crafted jewelry, and became established in the year 1999. Along with her family, she had just moved south from her northern roots to live in the vibrant town of Austin. It was then, through the merging of bright Texas skies and her fond memories of tea times, verd

ant gardens and her mother’s quaint craft shoppe beneath their second floor cottage home, that the spirit of inspiration came to bear. Thoughtful, timeless design continued to emerge, echoing the elegance of a fresh bed of hydrangea or Queen Anne’s lace strewn along a rocky shore. Fine metals would harness the splendor of rare, faceted and hand-cut stones, and as time would have it, Summer Ellis’ pure, and subtle aesthetic took form and came into its own. Along the way, love, faith, marriage, three darling daughters and a few years spent en France and living beside the coastal lands of Morocco, enriched her creative process all the more. Summer’s jewelry collections reveal a journey of depth and romance, as they glimmer with hope and delight, amidst the rough edges and cuts of this world – reflecting what Summer calls, “an impossible grace.” It is this delicate potency, accenting romantic reminiscence, to which her jewelry serves to diffuse to each whom they adorn. Sixteen years later and over sixteen thousand pieces purchased, Summer Ellis™ jewelry has veritably become a symbol to an occasion’s memory, as well as an effortless compliment to your daily wear.
