We'd like to share an update to all of our clients... Rocks the Jewelers will be closed tomorrow, November 16th and Friday, November 17th as we move into our new location across the street at 309 Chestnut Street, former location of Ben Franklin/Material Girl. Updated signage soon to follow!

We will be re-opening at our new location on Monday, November 20th. We thank you for your patience as we get situated. Your support for our business is greatly appreciated and we are looking forward in having a grand re-opening celebration this spring! We may possibly have some phone interruptions while we move. You can email us at [email protected] if this occurs. Posting a few pics of new layout even though drywall dust is never ending. We are very grateful to all of our local contractors that worked very diligently to ensure our move prior to our Christmas Season!

We apologize to all of our customers it took us so long for an update. We have been waiting on numerous things, one being a structural engineer report on both buildings which would determine if we could open Rocks soon. It looks like we are in the clear for Rocks the Jewelers building. Our plan is to meet with the building official next week and begin a plan for reopening the following week. Hopefully we will be open for business by Wednesday, August 4th.

Many of you do not know that the building between Rocks and Peps held our jewelry manufacturing company, Strellman's. There have been rumors circulating that this building was vacant. Below are pictures of what it looked like inside prior to the fire and also after the fire destroyed it. Strellman's manufactures fine jewelry for over 300 retailers in the U.S. We were in the process of updating our Strellmans.com website but if you Google the line, you will understand the significant impact this fire had on our ability to produce this fine jewelry line to our amazing retail partners whom we love very much.

If you need immediate help with picking up your jewelry, please send an email to [email protected] We will try to respond as fast as possible and appreciate your patience as we begin our rebuilding process. We are so very touched by your kind thoughts and prayers. And we also reach out our thoughts to all of our business friends that were impacted by this horrible tragedy. Bless you all!

This is Grace Paulsen posting on my moms account. My mom and dad want everyone to know that we are all safe. The building that housed my moms jewelry manufacturing company 'Strellman's' caught on fire and destroyed everything. The fire department was able to contain the fire to that side of the building. Rocks the Jewelers sustained severe smoke damage, but all of the jewelry and customer's jewelry is still in tact. We are devastated as a family, but are thankful that all of us, including our renters, are safe. Please keep our family in your prayers.

If you have jewelry at Rocks, be patient as they are still unable to get inside until the fire marshal clears the building.

Rocks the Jewelers will re-open today, Friday, March 20th. We will remain open following the MN State and Federal recommendations going forward. We respectfully ask that if you are sick, please stay home. We will be suspending watch battery changes and precious metals buying during this uncertain time and will use social distancing as much as possible. Elbow bumps to all, we will get through this.
