Striking and eye-catching, pre-Columbian, semi-cylindrical drop dangle earrings with carved Incan designs including llamas and Tumi warriors and green with blue stone inlays! The pierced earring circular ball posts have intricately designed, ancient, geometric symbols reminiscent of the Nazca geoglyphs that are believed to represent the path to spiritual enlightenment. On the front of each semi-cylindrical earring are elaborate carvings of a llama with a Peruvian woman and secretly hidden on the flat "shadowbox" backs of each earring is the ceremonial Tumi, the national symbol of Peru, which contains a semi-circular “blade” on one end, and Naylamp, a mythological hero of Peru, as a talisman for good luck on the other.
Remarkable artistry and design in this wonderful and attention-grabbing pair of pierced earrings. They are lightweight, have a light, undisturbed patina, and display very beautifully to frame the face! 🇵🇪
