I think it’s safe to say that 2020 was a year of intense ups and downs for all of us. We are hoping and praying for a better and safer 2021 for all of our dear customers.
With that being said, after almost 10 years of serving our community, it is with great sadness that Comfort Gifts & Engraving will be permanently closing its doors. It was a prefect storm this past year, between the shutdown for COVID-19, the significantly decreased number of events that we thrive on (such as weddings, baby showers, etc.), and the lack of shipping preventing us from having the inventory we so desperately we needed the fulfill our customers’ needs.
We are so very sad and will miss all of our amazing customers dearly.
There are a few bright sides, however!
Comfort and Son Jewelers, our 4th generationally owned sister-store right next door, has fortunately thrived this year and will remain open for what we hope to be generations to come! We made the switch earlier this year to move all of the gift store jewelry lines to the front of the store, which is now owned by Comfort and Son Jewelers next door. That means that your favorite jewelry lines aren’t going anywhere! We will eventually be condensing over to the jewelry store, but for now the front portion of the gift side will stay open with all of our price point jewelry available.
We will be accepting Comfort Gifts & Engraving gift cards in the jewelry store for a year, to the end of 2021.
We will also be able to special order anything from Mackenzie-Childs (in stock only) for Comfort Gifts & Engraving gift card holders until the end of February 2021.
All that to be said, everything we have in stock in the Gift portion of the store (excluding the jewelry, which is now owned by the jewelry store) is now 50% off! That includes Mackenzie-Childs, Nora Fleming, incredible baby items, and more! We would love for you to take advantage of these amazing savings and to be able to see you, so hurry in because we won’t be here long! Our projected close date is looking to be the end of January 2021.
