Christmas on the west coast is entirely different than the holiday season in Michigan where I grew up. Living in the snow is not as fun as visiting it for a week.. but there are parts of me that miss so much of it - a blazing fireplace, wool hats and scarves and mittens, the bite of cold that freezes your boogers, the complete and utter silence of the land during a snowfall ❄️ these are the things that pop into my head when I wake up in the morning this time of year before my body remembers that it’s a perfectly sunny 76 degree day and people are surfing in the ocean..
Anyways here’s a bracelet I still have for sale that captures a little bit of the holiday spirit 🎄

This was the first ring I made in 2024, experimenting with a cutout band and delicate Australian opals. I must admit I fell in love on a deeper level than most pieces I make, and have since claimed it as mine (sorry not sorry). But fear not, after a year of being in ‘testing’ mode I am happy to say there will be many more like this to come!

Frosty butterfly 🦋 this gorgeous stone is a deep blue tanzanite, set like a glowing midnight mountain peak. Wired with faceted lapis lazuli and made to be adjustable to any length ✨

I would be willing to bet that this amethyst has been heat treated, which is never my preference…but just look at the depth of that color! I have gotten lost in these photos, the stones just suck my eyeballs in 🤩

Here is my latest brainchild - and my most recent obsession. I received these turquoise stones thinking they were pretty cool but not the best out of my collection.. played around with the design, and from the pen and paper this unicorn was born…and now I can’t believe I didn’t realize these were actually the best turquoise stones I could’ve dreamed of using! It matches the skin tone perfectly 👌🏼 This is one of those rare instances where the finished product turned out to be even better than what I had pictured. The number of compliments I receive is kind of ridiculous 😂
